Yusuf Joins the ‘Dear Mr Fantasy’ Bill
Yusuf is the latest addition to the Jim Capaldi tribute show, Dear Mr Fantasy. Taking place at the Roundhouse on Sunday 21st January, the concert celebrates the music of Jim Capaldi and his band Traffic.
Proceeds from the event are going to benefit Jubilee Action, the Brazilian street children charity. Jim’s wife, Aninha Capaldi, said “I am delighted that Yusuf is able to join us, Jim and I had many happy times in the past with him. It is going to be a wonderful show.”
Yusuf joins an impressive array of stars. Amongst those already scheduled to perform on the 21st are Steve Winwood, Paul Weller, Pete Townshend, Joe Walsh, Jon Lord, Bill Wyman, Gary Moore and Dennis Locorriere.
