About
I Have No Cannons That Roar is a compilation album featuring a variety of artists. It was released on Yusuf’s own Jamal Records in 2000 to raise funds and awareness for the victims of the 1995 Bosnian conflict. The name for the album came from a song written by Irfan Ljubijankic, the Bosnian Foreign Minister who was tragically killed when his helicopter was shot down in 1995. A few months before his death, Ljubijankic had given Yusuf a cassette recording of the song he’d written in the hope that it might be used to help heal the war torn region.
